Even a small slope concentrates load on one corner of the cage. Over months, that creates valve-seat distortion that ends as a slow drip. Use shims or move the tank.
A 275 on top of a 330 is a stack waiting to fail. The footprints match; the bottle profiles do not, and the upper tank rocks on the cage of the lower one in ways the cage was not designed for.
A bottom valve with no cam-lock cap is an invitation to a drip. The cap is two dollars and ten seconds; install it before the tank goes into rack.
Spill-containment pans are cheap insurance. For tanks holding regulated chemistry, they are not optional under most state environmental rules — but plenty of warehouses skip them and live in latent non-compliance.
A full IBC sitting unmoved for two years is doing the cage and the foot pads no favors. If your throughput is slow enough that some tanks sit for over a year, you probably want a smaller fleet.
HDPE under UV exposure becomes more brittle over time. Outdoor storage is fine for short windows; permanent outdoor storage is not. Cover or shelter where you can.
