What we buy.
- 275 and 330 gallon plastic IBC totes (HDPE bottle, galvanized cage).
- Caged stainless and carbon-steel totes.
- Mixed condition is fine — we grade on intake.
- Single pallets through full yards.
What we need from you
- Prior contents (SDS). The most important info on the request. Determines our buyback price and our pickup logistics.
- Tote count and approximate condition. Photos help; not required.
- Pickup location and dock access. Hours, gate requirements, forklift availability.
What you get
- A written, no-pressure buyback quote within one business day.
- Pickup scheduled with our carrier network — usually within 5–10 business days.
- Bill of lading and a recycling/reuse certificate for your sustainability reporting.
- Payment by ACH or check after intake count is confirmed.
Contents we can't accept
We cannot accept tanks that previously contained certain hazardous categories (PCBs, certain pesticides, certain pharmaceuticals). When in doubt, send the SDS in the message field of the form above — we'll confirm in writing whether we can take the load.
What we pay for empty totes
Pricing depends on grade-of-bottle at intake, prior contents, condition, and pickup location. As an order-of-magnitude reference for typical 275-gallon HDPE totes:

Pricing for caged metal totes runs significantly higher across all grades. Quoted bespoke.
The full sell-back workflow
- Inquiry. Form submission with tote count, prior contents (SDS attached if possible), pickup location.
- Quote. Written buyback quote within one business day. Pickup window proposal.
- Your approval. Confirm acceptance, finalize pickup window.
- Pickup scheduled. We dispatch carrier; you receive BOL preview and confirmation.
- Pickup completes. Driver counts and verifies; you sign BOL.
- Intake at Dublin. Tanks unloaded and counted at our facility; any discrepancies reconciled.
- Payment. ACH or check issued within 5 business days of intake count confirmation.
- Sustainability certificate. Diversion certificate emailed for your records.
How to prepare empties for pickup
Three things make pickup smoother for everyone:
- Drain to residual zero. < 1 gallon of residual liquid; ideally fully drained.
- Cap valves. Prevents drips during transport.
- Stage at a forklift-accessible dock. Stack 2-high in a single position for fast loading.
Frequently asked questions about selling to us
What is the minimum quantity to schedule a pickup? Practically, 8–10 tanks for a single-location pickup. Smaller lots can sometimes ride on existing consolidated lanes — ask.
Do you pay for cage damage or missing valves? Reduced rates apply but we will still take them. The cage and valve infrastructure is reusable even when the bottle is not.
How quickly will I get paid? Typically within 5 business days of intake count confirmation, via ACH or check at your preference.
Can I send tanks instead of having them picked up? Yes, on customer-arranged freight, with prior coordination on receiving dates.
Do you accept tanks that previously held food products? Yes, with appropriate prior-contents documentation. Food-grade intake gets routed to a specialized reconditioning line.
